Congratulations to all

I’ll do a roundup post later but for now, congratulations to all of last night’s winners and my condolences to all of those who were not successful. (UPDATE: The roundup post is here.)

Most of all, my thanks to all who voted.

And for those of you who doubted my predictions, I’ll be collecting those bets soon :) When FL is declared for President Barack Obama, my predictions will be completely confirmed.

In the meantime, if you didn’t stay up late enough to hear it live, here is the president’s speech from last night.

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

One Response to “Congratulations to all”

  1. Having worked the polls since 2005 and working this election day at the polls all day I very pleased at the turn out. I am also very disapointed at the long lines that voters were stuck in. In my precinct the wait was anywhere from 45 minutes to 2.5 hours, but the folks were patient and in good spirits! A place was provided for the handicap and seniors to sit and wait their turn to cast their votes. It is hoped that in the next elections the State and local elections boards correct all the problems that led to the long lines!
