Looks like Hampton Roads might be getting some snow overnight. Of course, the weather folks around here are giddy, almost hyperventilating at the thought
Snow is not something we get to see very often. I mean, there was that blizzard back in 1980, when folks who went to the circus got stuck in the Scope overnight but since then, nothing like that.
More likely, it will be like this picture on the left from 2007 – a light dusting. Nevertheless, I’m going to prepare – and I hope others will, too. Because it could end up like this picture on the right – also from 2007.

Well I have been out twice to check and it doesn’t smell like snow so I think if we get any it might be very little.

You can almost always smell snow coming, the first time around.
