If you’re going to write a book …

… you might want to rethink using the same kind of information that cost your party’s nominee the presidency.

Ken CuccinelliOn the pages sent the Post’s way, Cuccinelli uses language akin to Mitt Romney’s famous “47 percent” comment. The Republican presidential candidate had suggested that a share of the electorate was so dependent on government hand-outs that it would never vote for him.

No doubt Cuccinelli had time to re-write the sections cited in the Post article prior to the book’s publication. He appears to have chosen not to. Not only do such comments turn off independent voters, but if this article is any indication, moderate Republicans, too.

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

  2. This guy is an arrogant self-promoter, and the GOP can’t afford another nail in its coffin. Show some life, Va, GOP and deny him the nomination. Otherwise our two-party system is finished.
