Portsmouth City Council member Steve Heretick has announced his bid for the Virginia Senate for the seat currently occupied by Fred Quayle (R-13).

I understand that Delegate Johnny Joannou (D-79th) is going to be facing a challenger this year for his seat. The person mentioned is a fellow Democrat who lives in Norfolk. Will update this once more information comes to light.

Rocket launched from Wallops Island
