I do think the blogger sets the tone. Your blog is a place where people come to discuss serious ideas in a serious way. And, BTW, hope you get some SLEEP after this whole tax-season thing winds down!
What is sleep?
Bloggers build an unwritten code merely by blogging. You develop a tone and show who you associate with and view as sharing such a code through who you link to in your posts and blogrolls. I think that is the best code one can do, just by providing solid content and hyping other places to find respectable blogging.
I think Jason has hit on the key to it all. Wise words.
