HRTA meeting tomorrow

The first meeting of the Hampton Roads Transportation Authority will be held tomorrow, July 18, at noon at the Hampton Roads Planning District Commission offices. Via email tonight, I learned that citizens will be allowed to speak at the meeting. Head on over if you can.

Vick indicted on dog-fighting

According to the Virginian Pilot, Atlanta Falcons quarterback and Newport News native Michael Vick and three of his associates have been indicted on federal dog fighting charges. The indictment pdf can be found here.
