It’s a Tuesday thing

That’s the only thing I can figure out. Either that, or he’s about to come over from the dark side ;) Seriously – we agree again?

I came to the conclusion a few years back that an elected official who can never run for re-election is about as close to an appointed leader as there is. There is no recourse for voters, no way for Governors to ever need to be accountable to the people, and outside of the rare opportunity to run for the US Senate, no chance Virginia voters will ever voice their opinion about their Governor again.

Where is Brian Kirwin and who is this guy they replaced him with? :)

About Vivian J. Paige

A former candidate, I've learned a lot about politics, both good and bad. I'd prefer more of the former and a lot less of the latter and I'm trying to do my part!

  1. I don’t know. Texans keep electing Rick Perry by a plurality and he by any measure is pretty awful. Accountability is only meaningful if the electorate holds you accountable. And how often does that happen?

    • Maybe you’re right. But at least I’d like the option to try. VA is the last state to not allow the governor to run for re-election.

  3. Does Kirwin hand out Cheese with all that whining he shovels out? Honestly, when I have to go to that horrid website, I’m getting out the razors and sitting in the bathtub to end it all. “where is brian kirwin?” Who cares?

Vivian, your site offers positive information and facts. That site is nothing but negative, attacks, lies, misinformation and mud slinging. Why bother? Its like asking, “where is Hitler and how is the after life for him?”.
