The Compass today had notice of a couple of candidates’ forums. Hosted by civic leagues, these forums are generally open to the public. This is an opportunity for you to hear – up close and personal – the views of the people you will be voting for on May 2.
CANDIDATES SPEAK: Candidates for the May 2 City Council elections will speak at the Larchmont/Edgewater Civic League meeting at 7:30 p.m. today at Larchmont United Methodist Church, 1101 Jamestown Crescent. Call 440-9061 for information.
CANDIDATES FORUM: Suburban Acres Civic League will host an open forum to meet the candidates at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Suburban Park Elementary School, 310 Thole St. The two candidates for mayor – Paul D. Fraim and Daniel E. Montague – as well the three Ward 2 candidates – Felisha Belin, Andy Wallach and Dr. Theresa Whibley – will speak and answer questions. Call 587-7975 for information.
