Polls closed about half an hour ago. So I figured I’d check the results. So far:
17 of 55 precincts reporting –
Mayor – Fraim 83%, Montague 17%
Ward 1 – Williams 57%, Saunders 43% (2/6 precincts)
Ward 2 – Whibley 69%, Wallach 25%, Belin 5% (7/15 precincts)
Ward 5 – Wright 56%, Osburn 42% (1/10 precincts)
Write-ins account for the difference. Speaking of which, I got an email last night about a write-in candidate in Ward 3. More in a bit

Looking at the precinct detail on the state’s website reveals that the update in the figures reported for Ward 1 are the absentee ballots, so I was misstaken earlier.
Looks like the missing precincts are Taylor Elementary in Ward 2, Brambleton & Campostella in Ward 4, and Larrymore & Third Presbyterian in Ward 5.
interesting – the Pilot has declared winners in all the Norfolk races except Ward 5. Aother Ward 5 precinct just came in – Wright now leads Osburn 2149 votes to 768 votes.
