Norfolk Mayor Paul Fraim and Virginia Governor Tim Kaine, along with four others, will be meeting with Ford officials on Friday morning. The purpose of the meeting is to attempt to convince Ford to keep the plant open or at least delay the scheduled closing.
With so many jobs at stake, I certainly hope they are able to convince Ford to stay. But it seems that Ford rarely reverses public decisions to close plants.
