I’ve added a poll covering the upcoming June 13 Democratic primary. The contenders are Jim Webb and Harris Miller. The race is getting a lot of coverage in the blogsphere but not much in the MSM, even though we are just 5 weeks away from the election. The winner will challenger first-term senator George Allen.
James “Jim” Webb is a graduate of the US Naval Academy, a decorated Vietnam veteran, former Secretary of the Navy under Ronald Regan and the author of six best-selling novels. He attended law school at Georgetown and was a Fall 1992 Fellow at Harvard’s Institute of Politics.
Harris Miller is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and received a graduate degree from Yale. He served as a Congressional aide prior to entering private industry and running several small businesses. He became president of the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA) in 1995. He is the former president of the Fairfax County Democratic Committee.
You know I’m for Webb. How do we vote? Do we just leave a comment?
Yes, I know! 🙂 Look at the poll in the sidebar to the right. When you mouse over the name, you’ll see it highlighted. Click on it and your vote will be recorded.
Thanks! Just noticed it!
Vivian,
What do you think about this?

I’m curious.
WorriedDem – it doesn’t speak well of Miller, no doubt.
Again, Vivian, do your due diligence, then vote your heart.
Look at what each candidate has said, then consider their past record for keeping their word, for acting honorably.
You’ll figure out what to do.
