I mentioned in my earlier post on yesterday’s debate that this will be the first opportunity for many people in Hampton Roads to see Harris Miller and Jim Webb. I took a look around the local media outlets to see what information has been reported on the candidates. Here is what I’ve found in terms of substantive posts, ignoring those including just the required reference to Miller and Webb as candidates against Allen and in no particular order:
From PilotOnline:
- News of Webb’s endorsement by Harry Reid
- Webb’s announcement
- Editorial about Webb
- Miller’s announcement
- Editorial about Miller
- Margaret Edds’ take on the primary
- Financial reporting as of 3/31
- Debate story
I’ll post more links from other sources later.
Harris Miller is a highly connected corporate lobbyist and Washington insider who has supported some of the most conservative Republicans in Congress and praised President Bush.

WorriedDem – This missive you’ve written is so long containing so many links that it got caught in my spam filter. And although I approved it, I have to say that I think this is spam.
What bearing on the topic of local coverage of the debate does this have?
You know – on second thought – I have edited your post to remove all that stuff.
