HRC endorses Lieberman over Lamont

If you need proof that the Human Rights Campaign doesn’t really work for LGBT rights, look no further than its endorsement of anti-equality incumbent Joe Lieberman over Ned Lamont. A piece over at the Huffington Post lays it all out.

Solmonese lists a series of HRC accomplishments, and some of them have merit, but he lists no actual victories in changing federal law. None. Zero. Nada. Zilch. Sucking up to “centrist” sellouts who won’t fight for our equality has gotten us nothing but tokenism and manipulative contempt. The Human Rights Campaign has become part of the problem, not the solution. Not anymore.

‘Nuff said.

  1. Ok…I was thinking of sending a check to them with my meager savings, but not now. Lieberman would vote for Harry Reid for Majority Leader but Lamont is more of a sure vote on the issues that are core Democratic principles. Way to disappoint me HRC.
