Well, he’s not quite saying that yet but Al Gore, the Democratic presidential nominee in 2000, has pretty much ruled out another run. The Al Gore we saw in 2000 has morphed into a new person, one with a sense of humor and some style. No doubt he is getting pressure to consider another run. Of course, even if he started right now, he’d be way behind in fundraising, which would be critical to his success. The Hillary machine is humming. But it would be an interesting race.
