In keeping with those Ditzy Dems and their “Ann Coulter logic,” here is one that came to me today:
1. Israel allows gays to serve openly in the military.
2. The US supports Israel
Therefore, the US supports gays serving openly in the military.

Don’t forget that NATO allies France, Germany, Spain, Denmark, and, especially our coalition partner in Iraq, the UK, have all orientationally integrated their armed forces. Does the fact that the US military conducts joint operations with their militaries mean that the “unit cohesion” argument for Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell is a bunch of hogwash? I don’t know; I’ve never served in the military. (Obviously.)
Of course, after seeing this (http://youtube.com/watch?v=xxQPbLIsmh4), I begin to understand what the “gay military” opponents are worried about.
