Some people won’t take no for an answer π Mary Beth Williams won’t. From the Huffington Post:
How serious is she? In her own words:
I’ve packed up my family, including four children, ages 4 – 9, two with autism, put all my belongings into storage (at a cost of over $350/month), have worked 60 – 80 hours/week for the past three months (unpaid), have talked with at least a thousand people, attended Democratic meetings, volunteered on Congressional campaigns, and pretty much emptied out our savings account. I passed up a number of paid staff positions for this fall, and my spouse can’t look for permanent work as I drag him around the country.
Yeah, you might say I’m serious.
That’s serious! They have put together a campaign plan, which they are putting online for all to see.
If Al Gore is your guy, head on over and send a couple of bucks.
If I had posted this at VB Dems there would be like at least a half dozen posts by now all disparaging Al Gore.
BTW, I think Al is great!
No doubt π I like Gore, too, but I he doesn’t want to run, then I can respect that.
I am thankful that Al invented the internet so we could all blog until the world is destroyed in 10 years by global warming.
Who do you think is going to win between Al and Hillary and John Kerry (and any other candidate)?
Two possible presidents will be in Norfolk on Wendedsay: George Allen and John McCain.
Come on, Squeak. I’m depending on you now to prove my theory.
