The much maligned ODU maglev project has made some strides. Today’s Pilot indicates that they have achieved stable levitation with a small scale sled. They hope they will be able to do the same with the larger train.
I don’t know if they will ever get this thing to work as it was envisioned. At this point, it seems to be a waste of resources.
