Technology is a great tool – when it works. I recorded the entire Norfolk City Democratic Committee forum last night and then lost the recording when transferring it to the computer! And, I didn’t take any notes. Relying on my (increasingly) faulty memory is probably not a good idea. So no real report on the forum from me. I can say with certainty that the panel, moderated by Joel Rubin, included 3rd District Congressman Bobby Scott, Democratic Caucus chair Brian Moran, ODU political science professor Glenn Sussman, Deputy Director of Communications for the UVA Center for Politics David Wasserman and 2nd Congressional District Democratic candidate Phil Kellam.
Other than that, all I can really remember are the conversations that I had with various individuals about politics, none of which I can disclose.
Perhaps other attendees can fill you in on the details š¦
Vivian, I feel for you. I can imagine listening to that crew and coming away short on details, too š

#1 – You need to get a new recorder.
#2 – Sounds like nothing memorable was said. Not surprising given who was speaking.
The recorder was fine – human intervention caused the error.
Is that same recorder that did not work for the Marriage Amendment town hall?
That time was also operator error. But at least I took notes š
