The Arlington County Board and the Falls Church City Council have joined the chorus of those who see this amendment as going too far, writing discrimination into the Bill of Rights. They are urging their constituents to VoteNO on Ballot Question #1.
I applaud these communities for standing up and being counted. Now the councils of Hampton Roads should do the same. I have emailed my council on this, providing them links to these stories. If you agree, please do the same.
