Embattled former U.S. Congressman Mark Foley has checked himself into alcohol rehab:
“I strongly believe that I am an alcoholic and have accepted the need for immediate treatment for alcoholism and other behavioral problems,” Foley said in a statement
I hope the facility doesn’t just treat his alcoholism. The man has bigger problems.

Seriously. If he’s blaming his problems on alcoholism, he’ll never be able to heal. He’s a pedophile, and he needs to be treated as such.

Foley? He is disgusting, and it appears that this may have been known by both Republicans and Democrats for quite some time—at least the suspicious emails seems to have been in evidence.

I like the use of the term “and other behavioral problems”. Now isn’t that an interesting spin. Alcohol is the least of his problems… Typical of someone like him to tapdance around the real problem. Looks like he’s not tapdancing alone though, as Republican leaders have to answer those dreaded questions of “When did you first know about this, and why didn’t you do something about it?”. It’s hard to blame this on the Democrats when they are in charge!!! The general public needs to hold their “feet to the fire” and demand answers BEFORE the election.

BS – yeah, I picked up on that, too. I’m not aware that alcoholism is the cause of sexual predator behavior, but hey…
