I spent the day yesterday at the 3rd Annual Yvonne B. Miller Golf Tournament. No, I don’t play golf, but a lot of people do. Senator Miller has the same aversion to fundraising as I do, but recognizes that she must be prepared for a challenge in 2007. The day started out with perfect weather for any event.
Midafternoon, the temperature dropped but the enthusiasm for the event did not. Around 3pm, people started showing up for the after-golf barbeque. Prizes were awarded to the top three finishers in various categories. One of the teams shot a 51, an impressive feat on a par 70 course. Of course, I suspect they bought the whole roll of mulligans 🙂
A good time was had by all.
