Cold, cold go away

I rarely get sick. But I’ve been fighting the beginnings of a cold for a few weeks and last night it hit me hard. So I’ve spent the day in bed, getting up just to take some more cold medicine. Hopefully, I’ll be back tomorrow.

In the meantime, y’all catch up on the happenings elsewhere:

Creigh Deeds announces he’s voting NO. I saw Creigh last night at the party I attended for Phil. Maybe Creigh can convince his good friend Phil to vote NO as well.

Mason-Dixon poll coming tonight. We’ll see how this one stacks up.

Jim Webb didn’t break the record on church attendance but he did make it to 13 churches yesterday.

National Review looks at the 2nd Congressional race between Drake & Kellam. (h/t Bearing Drift)

Jim Webb appeared on On the Record yesterday. Next week’s spot has been held open for George Allen but it isn’t confirmed yet. Wonder what Joel Rubin will talk about if Allen doesn’t come? How about a show about Allen without him there? πŸ˜€ And Drake & Kellam will be on together on 11/5.

Oh, and although I missed most of it, I see the Redskins lost again yesterday. One thing is for certain: they will not lose next week. You can take that to the bank.

Can’t lose if you ain’t playing πŸ™„

Going back to bed now. Y’all be nice to each other.

  1. I wish winter would hold its horses and let us enjoy a little bit of my favorite time of year. Everything being so down to the wire, it’s hard not to get sick with this weather. I even heard people talking about how it might snow in my government class today!

Getting a bit of a cough myself. Hope you get well soon.
