Tomorrow at noon, the PilotOnline will post the results of the latest Mason Dixon poll on the 2nd Congressional District race.
So – what do you think it will be?
My guess: Kellam 49%, Drake 47%, within the MOE of +/- 4%.

I think it is clear that Kellam will be ahead in this poll. Despite the fact that Drake clearly has run a better campaign, the national mood and everything else has got to favor Phil.
A lead in Mason-Dixon is just what Phil needs to counter the Pilot endorsement (??????) of Drake.
Phil is turning it on:
Says I: Kellam 48 Drake 43
I wouldn’t bet against you! I might put Drake a little lower – 46% or so with 5% undecided.
Once again the poll means nothing if 70% of the respondents aren’t from The Beach.
Yeah, but do you have a prediction? 🙂
Was the poll taken before Kellam stopped going to debates and before the Pilot endorsement? Those things could make a difference. A few points to Drake for those two things.
There is no way drake is ahead! Kellam would have to quit this race if he is behind in this poll. I mean really… who couldnt beat a republican in this election???? If we had a better candidate (48-41) since it is Kellam…45-41!
One more thing, TRS – we never get the crosstabs from Mason Dixon. They don’t release them to anyone except the newspapers that pay for them. So we won’t know what the regional breakdown is.
I have a source who has seen the poll and they say Kellam is up by 3!!!!!
Kellam 47% Drake 44%
Kellam 47% Drake 44% 9% Undecided is a huge number, but will shrink as mailers start arriving.
