OTR: Veterans for Drake & Kellam

I guess George Allen decided not to come to Norfolk for a taping of Joel Rubin’s On the Record. Last week, Jim Webb appeared and Rubin had invited Allen to appear this week. (Hey Joel – maybe you can catch Allen Sunday afternoon when he comes in for the Fall Family Festival in Norfolk.) Instead, the show will feature two veterans – one each who support Thelma Drake and Phil Kellam.

In addition, the Dennis Hartig of the Virginian-Pilot and Gordon Morse of the Daily Press will be on to discuss their respective paper’s endorsements. Rubin’s “My Minute” will focus on the so-called Marriage Amendment.

On the Record airs Sunday at 10:30 am on WVEC.

  1. No, they haven’t, as far as I know. I shortened the press release I received and in doing so, gave the impression that they have. What the release actually said was that they were going to discuss the election and their paper’s endorsements. Maybe Gordon Morse is just going to talk about the election. Or maybe the Daily Press will have their endorsement out between now & then and Morse already knows who it will be.
