OK, it’s crunch time. With only five days to go, we’ve got a lot of work to do to defeat the so-called Marriage Amendment. We need bodies, folks, for phone banking, lit drops and working the polls, especially in the Hampton Roads area.

Wish I could help, but headed to Massachusetts on family business. We’ve tried to do what we can around here. A friend and I have made a point of holding loud conversations about the faults of the amendment whenever we’re in a crowd of people — standing in a restaurant, in an elevator, hanging around a lobby. It’s amazing how many people you can see eavesdropping. I’ve talked to everyone coming to my office.
Wish I could participate but health issues prohibit that. However, I am on my computer daily to everybody I know, and some that I don’t know. Also, trying to recruit first-time voters.
