Somehow, the AP found time to cover a press conference in which 20 black pastors endorsed George Allen for his support of the so-called Marriage Amendment but failed to cover the 280+ faith leaders who oppose the amendment.
Mind you, among the 20 pastors were the ones he trotted out at his rally with John McCain. And the same group appeared with him in Portsmouth the day he was denying the charges of racism.
Yep, good old liberal media.
Thanks for noticing this remarkable discontinuity.
The press conference in Richmond was attended by more than 30 ministers from all over the state from NOVA to Blacksburg to Southside and Hampton Roads. Credit goes to WTVR, channel 6 in Richmond and WDBJ, channel 7 in Roanoke for sending crews to cover one of the most inspirational and uplifting events I have ever had the privilege to attend.
Too bad more Virginians did not have the chance to see, hear or read the message of love and inclusion preached by this diverse group of clergy. It stands in stark contrast to the message of hate and exclusion too often promoted in the name of Jesus by those who advocate for passage of Ballot Question #1.
One such article and all of the sudden the MSM is not liberal? Hmm, and how many times have they run the same “story” about George Allen and Siddarth? I’m pretty sure that has been beaten into the ground, as it seems that there is not a Virginian out there who has not heard it. Yet, it keeps making appearances.
