One of the things I enjoy doing during the season is to visit the Garden of Lights at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens, just outside my back door. I usually take a trip or two through the display, with my top down on my car and my radio tuned to a station playing Christmas music. Each evening from Thanskgiving to New Years’, the lights beaming across the water to me is a gentle reminder that this is a special time of year.
Whether you celebrate Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, the Winter Solstice or something else, I hope you all have a wonderful holiday.
