The annual Democratic Party of Virginia Jefferson-Jackson dinner will feature Barack Obama, the Senator from Illinois and potential contender for the party’s nomination for president. Tickets are $165 and will go on sale January 17. The dinner is February 17 at 6pm at the Richmond Convention Center.
You know, DPVA has not cashed my check from last year’s JJ dinner. Wonder if they’ll cash this year’s?

There will be variety of events through the rest of the day, too, which they haven’t put on the DPVA web site yet. Saturday will start with a breakfast sponsored by the DPVA Women’s Caucus before the State Central Committee meeting. After the meeting, there will be an awards luncheon, followed by a series of presentations and discussion panels through the afternoon.
