The cat is out of the bag. A new blog, The Women’s Post, is online. If you would like to participate, email me.
Phyllis Randall at A Moderate Voice has thrown her hat in the ring. She announced this morning that she is running for Supervisor. I wish her the best. Head on over and give her some love – and some money.
The Direction has a new videocast up. I haven’t seen it yet so I don’t know what it is about.
The wildcard games this weekend were, for the most part, wild. OK, so two of the four games were. The Pats beating the Jets by 21 and the Colts win over the Chiefs by 15 don’t qualify but the Seahawks/Cowboys and Giants/Eagles games were quite good. I was sorry for Tiki Barber to have his last game be a loss, but it’s always good to see an over-the-hill QB like Jeff Garcia pick up a win.
As you can see, I’ve been messing around with the layout of the blog. The picture at the top is one I took at sunset in Aruba. Other than that, I reinstated my About page and took that info off the front. And I moved the sidebar to the left. I looked at changing themes but really, none of them float my boat (except the one on The Women’s Post). So whadda ya think?
Speaking of new layouts, check out Bearing Drift.
Dang…with a title like that I was afraid I had gotten to the wrong blog. π
Why the LEFT? Huh? π I like the look. Womans Post is a sharp looking layout too but I am not a huge fan of dark websites.
Because the only options are left or right and it had been on the right since the beginning. As for dark sites, I generally agree but I adore how well done that theme is. And it’s easy on the eyes. Of course, if I knew CSS, there are some changes I’d make to this theme.
Let me know, I may be able to help. π Its what I do.
I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks π
Looks good. I like it. It might inspire me to get off my duff and make a few changes … maybe someday.
OH-OH-peer pressure to change format…must resist…
