Richmond Sunlight

Waldo Jaquith has announced a new website, Richmond Sunlight. According to the announcement, the site is designed to “track the every movement of the General Assembly, vote up or down on legislation, comment on bills, and generally figure out what they’re doing down there in Richmond. It’s got RSS feeds, tag clouds, whizzy graphs and crazy Javascript accoutrements.”

I participated in the alpha part of the test and it is truly a new way of looking at the GA. While this is another Waldo creation, he has decided to donate the site to a non-profit, non-partisan organization.

Kudos to Waldo for bringing this to us. What a nice Christmas present 🙂

  1. It had been such an incredible frustration for me to try to find out about and track legislation that when I went to this site my jaw literally dropped. As the English say…”Brilliant”. I’m passing the URL on to all my friends. The tool is invaluable. You can look at information in so many ways.

Thank you Waldo Jaquith. I read about you all the time …. you sound like a remarkable person!
