This morning, Delegate Brian Moran spoke at the
Virginia Beach City Democratic Committee breakfast. Del. Moran spoke for about twenty minutes, which I have included in a podcast here. Afterwards, he took questions from those assembled. Many of the questions were related to the topic of the day: transportation. The audio portion of the Q&A was too weak to post. If I get a
chance, I’ll try to clean it up and get it posted.
Before leaving, Delegate Moran presented House Joint Resolution 143, Celebrating the Life of Jerald S. Griffin, to his widow.
I’m very serious, one can never get tired of that accent.
Tho Brian represents Alexandria, not Arlington (thank you gerrymandering)… Arlington is represented by Brink, Ebbin, Eisenberg, and Englin.
Tho he was our Assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney 🙂
I’ve heard Brian speak several times and I have to say that he most definitely knows how to rally a crowd.
Who said Arlington?
Your podcast…
Did I say it? I looked at my script and it wasn’t in there.

… I may just be crazy (im not discounting that theory…)
Damn! I must have thrown that word in without realizing it.
Oh well. All those “A” cities get me confused, anyway 😦
Oh its cool, thats an unbelievable compliment for Delegate Moran, Arlington is the greatest place known to man! (literally.)
I hate to add to the confusion, but Arlington isn’t a city.
By the way, was the jacket that shiny in person? I like it, but it looks expensive.
Right, we’re a county. But more important than the county/city issue is the fact that we don’t have to deal with nearly the level of ignorance than the rest of the Commonwealth seems to.
Ben: Uh, shiny jackets are generally cheap, not expensive.
I can’t imagine that Karyn would let him out of the house in cheap clothing though. I’ve never seen Brian wear a shiny suit, and I’ve seen him wear brown jackets on multiple occasions- it must be the picture.
