I just watched the first of Hillary Clinton’s three live webchats. (The other two will be held Tuesday and Wednesday night at 7pm). Clinton took a total of 12 questions from the viewing audience. The topics ranged from Iraq to healthcare, energy dependence to terrorism. For the most part, the questions were well thought out and comprehensive. (OK – except the one about what is her favorite movie 😉 )
Clinton looked relaxed and, with the exception of her answer on Iraq (way too long!) did a decent job. If you haven’t heard her lately, you might want to tune in and catch one or both of the other two chats. (I see no evidence at this point that tonight’s webcast will be put on the site for review.) Don’t expect a lot of depth, though. Thirty minutes is not a lot of time to cover topics in detail.

For a brief message through the internet, she did perform well. I’ll be interested to see if this strategy is taken up by other Presidential hopefuls
Hmmm… asked about favorite film… Perhaps a VQR reader?

so far, I watched Monday and Tuesday. I liked her style, and aside from the necessary vague platitudes, I liked her answers. Well worth a 1/2 hour.
