FYI – it appears that Akismet, which grabs posts that it thinks are spam, is being a little aggressive today. So if you post and don’t see it come up right away, it’s probably been grabbed. I generally take a look at the posts in the spam filter quite regularly but given this, I’ll be looking more closely.
Hopefully, things will be back to normal soon. Even if I wanted to, I can’t turn off the spam filter as it is a part of Word Press. But I certainly wouldn’t want to – as of last count, some 45,435 spam comments had been caught 😯

Speaking of spam, I have Yahoo mail and I’ve gotten at least 100 spam mailings over the last two days. Al Gore needs to get to fixin his internets, apparently.
