Action needed NOW on HB2797

The vote on HB2797 , which I first reported on here, is scheduled for this afternoon, according to this post.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of Virginia:

1. § 1. That life begins at the moment of fertilization and the right to enjoyment of life guaranteed by Article 1, § 1 of the Constitution of Virginia is vested in each born and preborn human being from the moment of fertilization.

There are those who believe that this bill, in light of Roe v. Wade, is unconstitutional on its face. However, we cannot afford to take that chance. Call your legislators (free) at the constituent hotline, 1-800-889-0229. If you do not know who your Virginia state delegate is, please go to this link.

  1. abortion just another medical procedure.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Josef_Mengele

Mengele used Auschwitz as an opportunity to continue his research on heredity, using inmates for human experimentation. He was particularly interested in twins, who were selected and placed in special barracks. He also studied a disease called Noma, which particularly affected children from the Gypsy camp. While the cause of Noma remains not entirely known, it is a disease that affects chiefly children suffering from malnutrition and a weak immune system, and many develop the disease shortly after having suffered another illness like measles or tuberculosis. Mengele tried to prove that Noma was caused by “racial inferiority”.

To Mengele they were nevertheless not fellow human beings, but rather material to conduct his experiments on. On several occasions he killed subjects simply to be able to dissect them afterwards.

  2. But if I have to explain it we are just too far apart morally to even discuss it.

Bottom line abortion is used to cover-up our sins. But since most leftist don’t believe in sin, what’s the point of talking about it.

You believe what you believe and I believe what I believe.

But I bet we agree your glad your mother didn’t scrape you out.

  3. Did I say anything about what I believe? Your claimed moral certitude is nice, but I wish you wouldn’t make it sound as if everyone else on the planet was less moral than you.

I will thank you in advance to not make statements directed at me again that involve my Mother, and/or that language. Talk about morality…

Do you use that kind of language with your mother? I hope not.

My mother died ten years ago this month of cancer, and I dare say that as a woman, she would have told you to go push your views on someone who you think you might have a chance with, because she wouldn’t be buying what you are selling.

    Good Evening to you.

  4. Did I say anything about what I believe? Mark Brooks

    Democratic Activist –

    Acknowledged VJP’s request.

Are you trying to hide what you believe now?

This is the real thing SIR. Brains sucked out, bodies dismembered, and all the other Mengele style “medical procedures.” 40 million and counting dead. But the Dems are worried about 3000 adult military volunteers who died protecting your right to kill babies.

It’s about not wanting to be accountable for ones actions. Responsibility.

But you keep looking through those rose colored glasses.

  5. I wouldn’t read that freep if you paid me. I don’t need to read more preaching to me by those who always consider themselves morally superior to me.

I did not say what I believe, but your conjecture is correct. I believe in a woman’s right to choose. Did I say anything about the war dead? No. But I will now. Your objection to killing things extends only to unborn human fetuses. Since you are not at all concerned about the dead in any other way, I have to either assume you are selective in your disapproval, or you are a hypocrite. There are plenty more examples. I suppose now you will tell me that the death penalty is a good thing, too.

You claim I am immoral due to my decision to allow women the right to say what happens with their own body, and I say to that, I want to see your dismay at the coathanger abortions that will be performed in this country, and the deaths of women who make that choice.

At least you didn’t mention my Mother again.

  6. Who considers themselves superior in any way? Sounds like you.

If you go back and read the post you’ll find I said our sins.

I’ll repeat, we’re all in this together folks.

As far as killing, I’m for killing more of the enemy than they kill of us. I think that was Patton.

I’m against the death penalty in the US, but only because the judicial and law enforcement systems are so corrupt and incompetent, they can’t get anything right.

Concerned about the dead. I guess VJP could answer this one by now, I’ve been riding the backs of the blacks in VA and America for letting Hanover County and many other counties destroy their ancestors graves, to no avail so far. This is documentaion of one of the many they are destroying: http://www.savinggraves-us.org/va/pebblecreek/index.html

No one made the decision for the woman to get pregnant, except in cases of crimes. But why is it ever the innocent babies fault. Why does anyone get to play GOD? Talk about moral superiority.

Coat hanger deaths. Like you said your “for” a womans right to chose. And as you stated “deaths of women who make that choice.” Maybe they should make the choice before they got pregnant and not after when they have to include someone else in their “choice.” It’s been a long time since American women used coat hangers. A lot of social stigmas have changed, so why are so many still choosing abortion. Do we not have enough avenues for a woman in this position to have a child and provide a suitable home for it, if she doesn’t want it? She has no choice but to kill it, WHY? Because it’s easy and no one cares if she kills her child. A child isn’t human until it breathes air anyway right Dr. Mengele.

You want to use words like choice, fetus, bunch of cells, etc. I’ll keep calling it a baby, a child, and people who kill them Mengele.

But maybe we need it to control the population like China? It’s just birth control right? What are the stats on what group of people get the most abortions in the US. What segment of the population is being “oppressed” by this “choice?” But killing is not oppression just slavery and Jim Crow, right?

“hello, hello, hello, is there anybody out there” Pink Floyd

I realize I’m wasting my time talking to you Mark, but maybe just maybe one life will be saved by getting someone else to think about what they are really doing before they kill their child and have to live with that for the rest of their life. I know numerous girls I grew up with, who had abortions, when abortion first became legal, who still regret the decision. Some who later married the person they conceived the child they killed. They look at the children they had later and wonder about the child they killed. They did it because they were scared and abortion seemed like the best answer at the time, but now they know it was wrong. Too late the baby is dead and never got a chance to defend itself from folks like you.

Hey, but we need to keep people like you happy right Mark. Have fun, no consequences, it’s my choice, lifestyle.
