“Blacks are disporportionately represented in the number of new HIV/AIDS cases”
And I’m sure it has nothing to do with THEIR behavior.
OMFG, do you people *ever* get tired of this? Do you LIVE to be perpetual watchkeepers, making sure that not one person ever forgets what a bunch of hateful little bastards we still have living in this Commonwealth?
Every time Vivian posts anything that even mentions ethnicity, I can count on at least two or three immediate posts either complaining about the mention of it, and then at least one stupid comment like Republitarian’s. I expect that, in short order, we’ll have another comment saying that “blacks” are horrible because they’re not protecting the graves of people in BFE Virginia, and then another post that says that this holiday is oppressing them because it doesn’t point out that HIV/AIDS are the wages of sin.
Oh, and then someone’s going to call me uncivil because I didn’t show you the extraordinary patience that our too-kind proprietor does.
I guess it’s a heck of a lot easier to kill the messenger than to listen to the message. Try looking at the links, republitarian. You just might learn something.
My heart goes out to the women who are infected by thoughtless men who engage in situations that put these women at risk.
“we’ll have another comment saying that “blacks” are horrible because they’re not protecting the graves of people in BFE Virginia,”-MB
BFE is Hanover County! Too Funny and revealing. I love you MB you made my day! And thanks for letting me know the message is starting to get out.
And by the way, it’s not just blacks that are not protecting the graves. The graves are of all races of AMERICANS. Our history. It just at the moment happens to be only WHITES trying to protect all graves in Hanover and Caroline counties.
I was hoping since slavery is such an important issue for the black community, the graves of these abused people might be considered sacred since they suffered so much in life.
But maybe it’s not slavery and the suffering of your ancestors that’s at the heart of this issue for you?
Thanks for inviting me into the discussion! :>)
Link says,”Page cannot be displayed”….kind of hard to follow that…..
I was just trying to help Vivian get her comment numbers up.
Not sure why you’re having trouble with the link. It works for me.
