One segment of this Sunday’s On the Record features a discussion about the area’s rapidly aging workforce. Joining host Joel Rubin will be Hampton Roads Planning District Commission’s chief economist John Whaley and Judy Begland from Opportunity, Inc., the region’s workforce development agency. In the other segment, Drs. Cassandra Newby-Alexander and Charles Ford will discuss the NSU conference on Jamestown and black history in America, coming up next week. Rubin takes on ODU football in his “My Minute” segment.
Catch OTR Sunday at 10:30am on WVEC channel 13. If you miss the airing, it will be available on the website on Monday.
Joel Rubin is the guy that said Norfolk citizens “were not interested in hearing from local candidates on television,” as a panel guest at the FCC hearings at Old Dominion last year. When in fact, THIS Norfolk Citizen isn’t interested in anything Joel Rubin has to say.
