LaKisha Jones just nailed it. Put the rest of those females on American Idol to shame. A tremendous voice, great presence. LaKisha is definitely the one to watch for the rest of the show. What a treat!
Only one thing: she needs to lose the HIB.

Forgive my ignorance, but what is HIB? I agree, LaKisha was phenomenal.

She was really good. I think she will be in the final four before it is all said and done. Whether or not she wins is another story. One thing I have learned from American Idol is that you can never assume someone is going to be the winner at an early stage.
LaKisha was amazing! Some were good, but she blew the doors off of that joint! I watched her and was so impressed.
What amazed me was that before and after she sings, she is so quiet and reserved, but when the music starts she puts on a show! Some sang, she ENTERTAINED!!!!
BTW, the snotty chick who I can not stand, Miss “We can have any guy at home” and “I guess God likes good people”, Antonella Barba, STUNK!!! 🙂 Bye, bye Miss Laguna Beach wanna-be!
Vivian, I agree. She is amazing. I would tune into American Idol just to watch 90 more seconds of her performing.
I’ll tell you what, I think her performance last night was ten times better than Fantasia’s tonight.
Brother Scrafford hit it on the head…of course, it should be noted that I have always thought Fantay-sia (as Simon says it) is to date the least of the AI winners…and given what we heard from Lakisha and Melinda and others, that opinion is unlikely to be changed soon…
