As previously mentioned, Ralph Northam will be kicking off his campaign for the 6th Senate district next Tuesday, March 6. Today, the campaign released the schedule of the press conferences:
- 8:30am Onancock, Mallard’s on the Wharf, 2 Market St.
- 10:30am Eastville, Old Courthouse, 16404 Courthouse Rd.

12:30pm Norfolk, Fishing Pier in Oceanview, Corner of 4 th View and Oceanview Ave.

5:30pm Mathews, Historic Courthouse, Corner of Church St. and Court St.
The 6th Senate district includes the entire Eastern Shore, portions of Norfolk and Virginia Beach, and all of Mathews County.
I hope as many people as possible will attend these events. (Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make them, as I have appointments all day.)

How awesome is it to have a candidate who clearly cares enough about the entire district to announce in four localities. For somebody who still works full time, it is great that he is willing to take off a whole day to make himself available to everyone.
Too bad most working people will be, well, working.
It’s worth taking a couple of hours to show support for Dr. Northam. A check wouldn’t hurt either.
