This week’s On the Record features a discussion about transportation with Senator Ken Stolle (R-8th) and Delegates Phil Hamilton (R-93rd) and John Welch (R-21st). Weighing in on the regional portion of the plan will be Norfolk Mayor Paul Fraim. Governor Tim Kaine has indicated his unhappiness with the bill and wants to amend it. The representatives discuss what changes, if any, they believe the legislature will support.
Catch OTR Sunday at 10:30am on WVEC channel 13. If you miss the airing, it will be available on the website on Monday.
I missed posting the notice of last week’s OTR. The entire segment was about veteran baseball coach Towny Townsend, who is battling cancer. In his “My Minute,” Rubin discussed his opinion of Barack Obama and the speech he gave at the JJ Dinner. Worth a watch (that part starts at the 20:25 mark).
