Last week, we learned that the City of Norfolk was going to produce three shows of the Broadway at the Chrysler series – in effect bailing out Baci Management Inc. – to the tune of $600,00. The Virginian Pilot is now reporting that Baci owes the city at least $329,000 for admissions taxes and unpaid loans.
City Attorney Bernard A. Pishko said additional sums may be owed.
“We’re anticipating more damage and loss, but we don’t know how much yet,” he said Tuesday.
At this rate, there won’t be any money left for real estate tax relief. 😦
