Ten cents

That’s the real estate tax rate cut proposed by Norfolk City Manager Regina Williams.

Norfolk’s real estate tax rate of $1.27 per $100 of assessed value, among the state’s highest, would fall to $1.17.

Hmm. Think the City Manager read what I wrote earlier?

I’m expecting that the city manager’s budget will come in with a reduction of about 10 – 12 cents, more than likely 10 cents.

And no, I didn’t have any inside information on that one 😉
