Norfolk hearing on real estate tax rate

Tomorrow night, Wednesday, May 2, the City of Norfolk will be holding a hearing on the real estate tax rate.  The city manager has proposed a reduction of 10 cents in the rate, to $1.17 per $100 assessed value.

This meeting, for which we have to thank 2006 council candidate Andy Wallach, will be held at 6pm at Granby High School (7101 Granby Street).  If you want to speak at the hearing, you can sign up in advance by calling 664-4253.
