The Virginia Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics announced today that Ralph Northam is the winner of its 2007 Virginia Child Advocate award for his outstanding contributions to children in Hampton Roads and his work for all children in the Commonwealth. The letter announcing this was signed by Colleen Kraft, president of the Academy.
Ralph is also the 2007 winner of the Faculty Teaching award at Eastern Virginia Medical School. This is the third year in a row in which he has won this award. Ralph teaches pediatric neurology at EVMS pro bono.
Congrats to the next state senator from the 6th district!
