  • The League of Women Voters of South Hampton Roads is presenting a panel discussion, “Affordable Housing: Considering Solutions” at the Holiday Inn Executive Center, 5655 Greenwich Road, in Virginia Beach. Check in and cash bar starts at 6:30pm with dinner at 7:00pm. The program is scheduled to start at 7:30pm. Dinner tickets are $35 with reservations accepted thru Monday. Mail checks to LWV, PO Box 1010, Norfolk, VA 23501. The panel discussion only is free and open to the public but seats are limited. Call the League hotline at 627-3396 or Robin at 233-0628 to RSVP.
  • The Urban League of Hampton Roads is having their annual meeting at 6:00 pm at the Renaissance Hotel, 425 Water Street, in Portsmouth. RSVPs are due today by calling 627-0864 or by registering online.
  • The Virginia Symphony Orchestra is holding a free outdoor concert at ODU on Kaufman Mall (in front of Webb Center) at 7pm. (Rain site is the University Theatre.) For more information, call 892-6366.

Now I just have to decide where I’m going to be Thursday 🙂
