Just a quick reminder that my second annual Memorial Day Bash is coming up this Saturday.
Tickets are just $10, with the net proceeds going to help fund our candidates in South Hampton Roads. Let me say that again: the entire net proceeds will go to Democratic nominees in contested races.
And why am I doing this? Because we have a never before seen opportunity to win some seats this fall. (And because I don’t want to see another candidate end up in debt!) Anyone sticking their neck out to run deserves our support. We’ve got six contested races here in South Hampton Roads and some fine candidates: Joe Bouchard, Bobby Mathieson, Bob MacIver, Ralph Northam, the winner of the Steve Heretick/David Bouchard primary and incumbent Paula Miller. There simply aren’t enough heavy hitters around here to support them all.
So I’m doing my part. Will you do yours?
