This week’s On the Record with host Joel Rubin features a debate between Democratic incumbent in the 79th Johnny Joannou and challenger Henry Light. This is the last opportunity for voters to see the two candidates before Tuesday’s primary. Since there is no Republican opponent, the winner will represent the district.
Also, local activists organizing next weekend’s Juneteenth celebration will be on, talking about the slavery resolution passed last session.
And in his “My Minute” segment, Joel looks forward to some votes coming up next week in the area on the regional transportation authority.
