Happy Father’s Day to all of the fathers out there! I hope you will step away from the computer and spend some time with your kids today. And for those of you who’s father is still with us, I hope you will find a way to connect with him.
A compelling story appears in today’s Virginian Pilot about one father’s gift to his daughter. It made
me think of my friend, Steve, who was diagnosed with ALS so many years ago and whose own daughter, Ashley, is so dear to him.
As for my own father, I refer you to my tribute last year. There is no one who can ever replace the hole in my heart. Happy Father’s Day, Daddy.
