Driving home from my office and I noticed some Nick Rerras signs in the median. Then I remembered: tonight is the night for his Annual Summer Evening in the Gardens. For those unfamiliar with our fine city, the reference is to the Norfolk Botantical Garden – and they are right outside my back door.
Ya think I should go? I’ll have time after the Drinking Liberally gathering đ
Yes, and please ask Rerras what kind of crab is pictured on his Eastern Shore invitations. A Chesapeake Blue Crab has a claw and four legs on each side (correctly shown on Northam’s materials). What did his crab evolve from!?
In a word, yes.
If Ralph Northam isn’t there, it might be a candidate forum.
Still obsessed with Northam not being where you want him in June, eh Brian?
It can’t be a candidate forum . . . Nick Rerras might have to answer some questions and the R’s certainly don’t want that.
Well, I didn’t go. I went to Drinking Liberally instead and got into a conversation with Mary Commander which was a heck of a lot more entertaining than going to the Rerras event.
Although it probably would have been fun to take Mary along with me đ
Yes, but does Mary play Midget [softball? http://notlarrysabato.typepad.com/doh/2007/06/thursday-captio.html#comments%5D
Didn’t think so.
Rerras is violating Norfolk city code by having yard signs up this early. Campaigns are not supposed to be posted until 90 days before an election. He must be desperate to get his name out, to violate city code or maybe he just doesn’t care.
yeah, who wrote that first amendment anyway.
Sheesh……imagine people wanting to voice their political views from their own yard. How dare they!
