According to the Daily Press, a new site – The Society for the College of William & Mary – has been established to “heal divisions over university president Gene Nichol’s decision late last year to remove a cross from permanent display in Wren Chapel.”
The new site is asking bloggers on both sides of the issue to join them.

Vivian — The “Society for WM” was founded by two people who have both called for Nichol’s resignation. They also were both involved in the founding of “Should Nichol Be Renewed” as well “Save the Wren Cross.” Additionally, their new group is funded by ACTA, a conservative front group that was founded by Lynn Cheney. This is just another attempt to drive the agenda towards getting rid of Nichol.
