Gallup poll on Hillary

A new Gallup poll, conducted June 25-28, questioned what would be the best and worst things about a Hillary Clinton presidency.

More than any other specific comment, Americans cite the historical significance of Clinton being the first female commander-in-chief as the best outcome of her possible election. But a significant percentage says “nothing” positive would result from her being elected.

The poll has a margin of error of +/- 4%.

  1. Would have been more interesting if they’d canvassed more candidates for comparison.

28% said “nothing” — isn’t that Bush’s base? That’s where his approval ratings are at.

  2. If you asked the same question about Pres. Bush, “What would be the best thing about Bush’s presidency?” roughly 65% of people would answer “the part where it’s over.”
